"Me and my wife were looking for the perfect relaxing retreat. Initially we had a few questions regarding the lodges, which were swiftly answered by the host. Booking was a breeze and once we were satisfied, our booking was confirmed. The local area was picturesque and the lodge overlooked a beautiful lake. The interior decor was modern, well designed and provided satisfactory comfort throughout. We brought our Chorkie dog with us for the stay and she very quickly became relaxed within the lodge and its surrounds. Taking a particular liking to the underfloor heat provided. There are local towns and villages nearby. On the Sunday we found a gorgeous country pub that was dog friendly and served the best roast. All round we were satisfied and I would recommend to those looking for that special relaxing retreat. "

“Lovely lodge set round a small lake with 2 other lodges. Delightful terrace on the lodge with uninterrupted views of the lake, comfortable outdoor reclining seating with cushions, footstool, bistro table and large dining table. Fire pit and large sturdy picnic table on the grass in front of the lake, waterproof picnic blanket available to use, weather wasn’t that good for us but we were able to relax on the terrace and catch a few rays late one afternoon. Lodge was very tastefully decorated and well equipped with top notch, modern kitchen equipment including a nespresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder and an ice making machine. Soft fluffy white robes in the wardrobe, plenty of soft fluffy towels and lovely bedding all added to the luxury feel. We were visiting family in Staffordshire so didn’t use the local area much although we had a great walk at Wyre Forest with our dog and then went for lunch at Colliers Farm Shop and cafe which was excellent.”

We treated ourselves to a holistic massage with Liz, the amazing massage therapist, and it was pure bliss. The luxurious bedding made our nights even more restful, and we were absolutely in love with the Divines products in the shower. As big coffee fans, the Nespresso machine was a real highlight. “Where to begin? This was an incredible trip at Ravens Croft (1/3 cabins). The location is absolutely amazing, so very peaceful and serene yet luxuriously furnished. The inside is decorated so intricately by Luke and has such a homely feel! The outside is just as perfect with a decking area and chairs to eat/lay down or sit. Just outside of the cabin is a fishing spot, lots of greenery and beautiful flowers, benches to sit, fire pit. It is such a lovely place as there is no disturbances! The cabin is also fully equipped with everything you need! Luke has put in so much effort with these cabins. Luke has been the best host! He has been so attentive and kind, checking in with me making sure we’re okay. Luke even gave a complimentary night which just made our dream come true as we did not want to leave! “We stayed in The Larches lodge for one night to break up our journey from Wales to Kent after visiting family for Christmas. It was an impulse decision and we do not regret it one bit! The lodge was absolutely stunning with everything you need and more. The lodge is one and three and in the most peaceful setting, unfortunately it was quite foggy during our stay but we cannot wait to come back during the summertime and see the beautiful scenery that was being hidden! We stayed with our two dogs and know there would be beautiful walks if weather had been better to us. The quality of the towels, bedding, shower products and furniture is 10/10 and we couldn’t have asked for more!
